Apparently Uninhabited Planet Survive is now airing on Animax Latin America, so if you're in that part of the world and haven't seen it yet, check it out.

Once more, with feeling.
Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE scripts for the final Box Set have been released. This covers the last 13 episodes (40-52) and concludes this project. I hope you have enjoyed this series as much as we have.

Survive 41-52 and Loveless 3&4 torrents have been taken down, as their DVDs are now out in Japan. Also, somehow I neglected to mention that it was We Suck's 2nd birthday about a month ago.

Two points. First, Loveless episodes 1 and 2 have been taken down. Keep an eye on the Oricon daily Anime DVD charts; if sales of the first DVD are going to have anything to do with whether we get a second series, that page will give us an idea of how well it's doing. Today it's #18--I guess it could be doing better, but it could also be doing worse.
Second point is the long awaited scripts for Survive Box Set 3 are done. The link in the sidebar has been updated to point at the new ZDS files, which contains all three box sets currently released, so if you have an old version of the script pack you can just replace it with this version.

Just pointing out that Survive DVD box set #3 is finally out in Japan now, so if you're there, head down to Akiba (or your local equivalent) and pick it up. For the rest of you (the vast, vast, vast majority. Vast!), pick it up from your favourite importer or online retailer. Mine, as you should assume from all the space I give them on the page, is YesAsia.
(In the interest of full disclosure, I get a 10% commission from sales there generated by people clicking the links in the sidebar. If enough of you buy stuff there in a month, I think they'll up it to 12%. Let this make you more or less likely to use those links as you see fit. I'd plug them and order all my stuff from them even if they didn't have an affiliate program, because they have free shipping and I've always been happy with their customer service.)
Since the DVDs are out, the torrents for Survive episodes 27-40 are down forever. Please remove them from your fServes, XDCCs, FTP or direct download sites, P2P app shared folders, and so on. Also, please don't ask me for those episodes. Some of them were released over a year ago, so it's not like you didn't have enough time to get them.
Also out now is the Loveless OST. My copy is part of the same order as my Survive box set.

My work visa went horribly awry.
YesAsia has a preorder link up for Loveless disc 1. Using the link in the right column to look it up gives us a 10% commission on the disc itself and everything else you order from the site during that visit. Decide for yourself whether that makes you want to use that link, or just navigate through the YesAsia site itself. Oh, and the disc (and the other items on the same order as it) have free shipping to anywhere, which is why I always order from YesAsia and why I always recommend other people to do the same. (This means it's a good time to order other, cheaper things you'd normally have to pay shipping for, like OP/ED singles or soundtracks. *hint hint*) I'll attach the cover image to it sometime tonight; I'm using my brother's computer, and I don't feel good about sticking Picasa on it without telling him.
Oh, preorder link for Survive box 3 is also up.

Yes, I'm still alive, and I bring good news: Survive DVD Box 3 will apparently be released on June 24th, with Box 4 sometime in August. I'll ask YesAsia about getting a preorder link up for it.
As far as new stuff goes, there are a few series that start airing this month that I have my eye on, so you may see a release this week or next, depending on what turns out to be good.

For those wondering whether we will fansub the Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE special, the answer is no. The special is all recap, of episodes still available for download through our torrents on scarywater. So if you're interested, go watch those episodes instead. It'll do you more good.

So maybe you're wondering where we've been this last almost-a-month. Well, right after Survive finished I was approached by someone to do some legitimate subbing, which I did. Subbing a 100 minute movie in under a week is a little taxing. (If you're wondering what movie, it won't do you much good even if I tell you. If you didn't already see it, you probably won't get the chance again. Then again, anything can happen.) Also, I'm so far behind on shows I've been watching from previous seasons that I haven't seen anything from the current season. Survive is partially to blame for this, and also internet poker. I think I have about 50 unwatched anime DVDs right now! Also, right after Survive ended, I picked up a Gamecube (yes, I didn't own a current generation console until this past month), so that's been taking up some time too.
This doesn't mean I'm quitting fansubbing by any stretch. Just let me catch up on anime and get the pile of unbeaten games shallower, and expect some subbing in the new year. (Not necessarily video files, though, if you get my drift.)
And no, I don't know when the remaining box sets of Survive are coming out. Once release dates are announced, I'll pass the information along.

This would have been done yesterday but I felt it was more important to let people watch the US presidential election than anime. But now that the fuss is essentially over, I solemnly release to you these fansubs of Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE 51.

To get things going nicely today, I think I'll go release Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE 49, as well as officially announce the release of the Box Set 2 scripts. As usual, the torrents are on scarywater, the new script packs on the repository on lavalyn.org.

I've been meaning to release this from school yesterday but I never seem to be at school at the right time (off school hours; I don't generally like having the main daytime staff noticing the MRTG graphs). So without much fanfare or whatnot, Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE 47.
Note also that this puts us finally back on track with NHK, as episode 48 is apparently pre-empted for the Paralympics.

Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE 46 is now available on the torrent, we are slowly *emphasize slowly* catching up. It looks like there will be a reprieve soon though, so Torgen just might be able to finish off the Box Set 2 scripts.

More Uninhabited Planet SURVIVE for everybody, now episode 45 has been translated and released. Remember that box set 2 is available, so please consider buying it, it's a good series. Other notes include that this is supposed to be a 52 episode series, so it's also nearly done.

It's past midnight tomorrow in Japan already, which means the second box set of Survive is officially out, which means the torrents for episodes 15-26 are down. And I promise we'll get back on track with the TV episodes soon.
