Tale of Saiunkoku DVD Volume 1 is now on sale in various anime stores in Akihabara, Den-Den Town, and online retailers...
Which means that Episodes 1 to 3 have been removed from our Bittorrent tracker, as per We Suck's policy of taking down video-based encodes of our fansubs upon the release of legitimate Japanese R2 DVDs (and, of course, upon any North American licensing). DVDSubber scripts will be prepared as soon as I receive the DVD.
I hope I didn't order too late...I'd really love the Limited Edition...

it's a pity that i dunno where to buy in my hometown~ arghhh~ i hate when i can't get access to one of my fave anime T_T but anyway i hope you guys didn't drop this saiunkoku series since i really really love this anime and can't live without it :( so i'm waiting for the next chapter. Again Thanks for releasing saiunkoku series. love u we suck!!!!

I'll assume that you live somewhere that's not Japan - otherwise, it would be rather obvious where you get the DVDs from ^_^
Because the Saiunkoku DVDs being released are the Japanese version DVDs, your best bet is to take advantage of the various Japanese import goods retailers (such as YesAsia, CDJapan, Amazon.co.jp, etc.)
In particular, if you note the sidebar on the right-hand side of our page, you'll see links to YesAsia.com's order pages for the Saiunkoku DVDs. (For full disclosure, I shall note that We Suck is an affiliate of YesAsia.com, - so if you click the order links on this page to purchase the Saiunkoku DVDs, then the group receives a 10% commission on the sales.)
And if you do buy the Saiunkoku DVDs - they do not come with English subtitles out of the box. However, We Suck will take the subtitles for the DVD and synch it up into DVDSubber script files. (DVDSubber is a Windows-based software DVD player which allows for the overlaying of subtitles over the video of a DVD that does not originally have subtitles. It's free-to-download software.) You can take advantage of the DVDSubber subtitles if you have a PC running Windows XP, and if your PC's DVD player is region free.

Even if your pc's DVD player isn't region free like mine, you can still d/l VLC player from the internet for free. VLC will allow you to play your dvds from different regions by opening them through their pogram even if they aren't region 1 dvds. I use that program to play my Japanese Music Videos for Koda Kumi that I get on DVD w/ her CDs. I love it!
So, does this mean you will no longer sub the remaining episodes?
If you are, when will releases 10+
be available? Your announcement did not say whether or not you are going to continue this series.
Torgen has recently posted about errata that we found while working on Episode 10. So rest assured that Saiunkoku is not being dropped.
