I saw the Rocket Girls DVD in my local Best Buy the other day.
It was a good story (if a little campy). I'm glad they didn't feel compelled to stretch it to the more usual 26 episodes.
What kind of filler would they have had top put in there? And if they'd gone any further with the fan service we'd all have had to register at the local PD.
....Totally post-humous, but I wonder if ANYONE ever going to license Mujin Wakusei Survive for the R1 audience? I'm so bummed that all these shows you've done have gotten licensed, and this is a big hunkin' 52 episode show, and it's just been wasting away in the R2 collector's bin (just cuz the boxsets are so expensive and rare). D:
