Woot, this awesome ! thank you a lot for your hard work, please take care of yourself ^^

You're my hero of the day! Thanks so much for your hard work!

Anonymous said...

thank you sooo sooo muchhh for another eps of saiunkoku!!!! Love yaa'll!!!!

Anonymous said...

Thanks much for this eps.... been online readung summarys to the manga and eps through 11.... thats how much i've fallen in love with this anime... and its perfect to pick up after Karin....

Anonymous said...

My nose is literally bleeding right now.

Hmm..I don't know whether it's because I'm so glad Saiunkoku episode 5 is released or it's the wheather here in California. Hopefully, it's the latter. (lol) ^^

Or, maybe I'm in love. Does love cause nose-bleed?

Anonymous said...

What are you apologising for. I think it was fast. Thank you very much.

Anonymous said...

Did you change the codecs in this one? For some reason I can't watch it...

Anonymous said...

Me neither, what codecs is needed?

Anonymous said...

i can't watch it, too! hix!

Anonymous said...

how to watch this episode?

Anonymous said...

I used BT to download and after trying to open it in both wmp and zp unsuccessfully, I looked at gspot which told me there was a corrupt header. The sfv value for the ep I have is the same as the value at scarywater. Is this a problem with the ep or with my file/computer?

Anonymous said...

somehow i can't watch it either and i'm certain to have any codec available atm.

Anonymous said...

The file is corrupt. Should we keep sharing it? I can play the other releases just fine.

Anonymous said...

Hmm don't think it would not make sense to share it if it's corrupt. BTW the message almost every of my player give of when i try playing it is "Avi: Top level chunk is too short" if this can help fixing it.

Anonymous said...

Yeah somehow I can't seem to watch it either when the other releases work just fine. Would appreciate if someone could tell me how to watch it! Thanks to the team for another episode of hard work - been waiting forever to watch it!

Anonymous said...

Top level chunk too short

The file is broken, sadly.

Anonymous said...

managed to fix the file with divfix ( http://divfix.maxeline.com/divfix.html )

think all you need is to rebuild the index that's all.

Anonymous said...

I could not get this episode to play either, where others played fine.
I used DivFix as one of the previous posters said and Rebuilt the Index to get it working. This is the error DivFix gave me on the ep:
------------------------------------
Index rebuilding for file: C:\Downloads\Videos\Tale of Saiunkoku - 05 [Suck].avi
Corrupted data detected at frame 15762 (00:10:57)
Error offset: 87556868 ($05380304)
Finished with C:\Downloads\Videos\Tale of Saiunkoku - 05 [Suck].avi .
Number of errors: 1
Done.
-----------------------------------
Hope that helps.

Anonymous said...

I'd like to amend my previous post. It looks like it works after the fix to about halfway through, then goes crazy. DivFix won't fix that.

Anonymous said...

there is a problem that I noticed after I tried it. That frame was erased so that piece of the eposite causes a fast skip, wich is rather noticeable.

so consider this a temporary fix.

Anonymous said...

Unless you check the "cut out the bad parts" box. Sorry, I'm kinda new to this so, I didn't think of that at first. ^_^;;

Anonymous said...

I'm not able to play it even if i rebuild the index and cut out bad parts... hope anyone can explain me a way to realy fix it

Anonymous said...

thanks so much!!! I love you!!! Never ask for forgiveness cause we're the ones that owe you. ^_^ Once again, Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I did it with the Cut out bad parts... people learn to read properly.
in any case in both ways my hali splitter always says top chunk too short

Anonymous said...

ok halisplitter was the the one not letting me watch it.

Anonymous said...

Thanks for posting how to fix the episode and removing the corrupted piece.

I'm a big fan of this series and was thrilled this morning to see Episode 5 was released.

Thanks for all your hard work. I really appreciate your time and effort you put into this!!!

Anonymous said...

The file seams 2 be corrupt. Can some 1 pls look in2 it? ^_^ Thankyou.

Anonymous said...

aahhhhh dude thanks and good luck on yer exams and things

Anonymous said...

File is bad and won't play, it looks like it is corrupted.

Anonymous said...

Since the file is corrupt, I decided to cease the upload and terminate the file. I will wait for another release.

Anonymous said...

le fichier tale of saiunkoku 5 est corrompu j'ai donc arrêté sa diffusion. On peut arriver à le visionner en passant par virtualdub qui complète le fichier.

Anonymous said...

lol peeps are so funny i for one am glade for what i got. thank you for the new episode. i love this story

Anonymous said...

I so want to see this, so sad that the file is corrupt. I will likely wait for a fixed version, especially since the divfix program mentioned is a windows program and I've got a Mac at home. I do note that there is a linux version available. Does anyone know if that will run on a mac, or failing that, if there is a similar program for the mac? I guess there's always soft PC, but I'd prefer a native solution.

Anonymous said...

Poor Lava he was so tired from studying that he feel asleep trying to get the encode done. lol

Anonymous said...

oooo~~~ the file is corrupted i tired the program above but it still doesn't work *sniff sniff*. 'll look forward to the fixed version then. ~sorry for the trouble

Anonymous said...

sainkaku does not work, fix it

Anonymous said...

I have tried the DivFix with the cut out bad part checked and it still did not work :S

Anonymous said...

well.. the file didnt work for me either, well i use k-lite codec pack and ive tried d tools in it called "AVIFixed" and it works fine!!

Anonymous said...

Hmm maybe can try this version to cut the bad parts - works for me.

Version I used was DivFix 1.13 beta which can be downloaded from here - http://www.digital-digest.com/software/download.php?sid=604&ssid=0&did=6

I checked 1)keep original file, 2)cut bad parts, 3)log errors, then clicked Rebuild Index.

Anonymous said...

maybe cause too much people DL the divfix and crash the server, i dont seem able to download it....

i am definitely waiting for Version 2

Anonymous said...

I couldn't play it neither but thanks to anonymous who recommend to use divfix, I managed to fix it and now time to watch!!

Thanks a lot anonymous \(^o^)/

divfix works, but it clips out some of the file. to avoid this, run the file through virtualdub first.

instructions:
1. download virtualdub and unzip to a new folder.
2. run virtualdub.exe, click File > Open > Tale of Saiunkoku - 05 [Suck].avi. you will see a window pop up saying it's rebuilding the index. let it finish.
3. click Video > Direct Stream Copy. click Audio > Source Audio.
4. click File > Save as AVI, choose a new filename (example: "file.made.by.virtualdub.avi"), click Save. all done with virtual dub - the file is now watchable but you can't skip through it without pre-loading EVERY keyframe located before the one you want to move to (ie it can take 5 minutes to rewind 5 seconds). so:
5. download DivFix and unzip.
5. run DivFix.exe, click Add Files, choose the file (ex: "file.made.by.virtualdub.avi"), click Open.
2. make sure Cut out bad parts (under the log window on the right side) is disabled!!! the video/audio are fine, it's just the index that's broken.
3. click Rebuild Index
4. all done. you can now open the NEW file, "DivFix.file.made.by.virtualdub.avi"

Anonymous said...

since i can't count, and also since i accidentally made the whole line bold, let me re-state what i said a moment ago: DISable the Cut out bad parts switch in DivFix, unless you want to remove sound and picture that is perfectly ok.

oh yeah, and just to mention, that the dixfix link in my post is on digital-digest.com, since the official divfix site reloads itself every 10 seconds. if you click a link it will open a new window, with the same page, which also reloads itself every 10 seconds. it made me laugh.

Anonymous said...

oh yes, thanks for mentioning that. you just need to have xvid installed - if you are using a codec pack you may not have it (CCCP for example uses a generic decoder which is not available to virtualdub) (get xvid).

Anonymous said...

AVIfixed totally worked! Thanx!

Anonymous said...

Thank you guys for instraction! It's worked!(with VirtualDub and DivFix and XviD)

The Cut Part

Sa Taiho: Oh, Your Majesty.

Ryuuki: Grand Guardian Sa

Sa Taiho: Would you be paying a visit to Esteemed High Consort Kou’s chamber again tonight?

Ryuuki: Indeed

Sa Taiho: I’m so relieved that you two seem to get on so harmoniously. How about this? My granddaughter possesses a beauty that rivals Esteemed High Consort Kou’s, and a kind disposition.

Ryuuki: We are fine with Shuurei as are only consort. We need no others.

Sa Taiho: You’re smitten with Esteemed High Consort Kou, aren’t you?

Ryuuki: S-s-smitten?

Sa Taiho: That means falling head over heels in love. Anyway, should you change your mind, please do not hesitate in letting me know.

If you follow the VirtualDub then DivFix Instruction, it’ll work like a charm and you won’t miss this scene. ^^

People here are so cool!

please release a fixed version ! :)

Anonymous said...

Thank you so much, mlander! That fixed it for me.

Anonymous said...

WOOT! Thanks alot, We Suck, for the fast release! And thank you mlander for the guide to fix the video. It was a great help. Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Anonymous said...

AVI Fixed worked for me without cutting out parts of the conversation at 10:30

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avifix.html

Anonymous said...

@kristian: yeah, there wasn't that much clipped, but there's nothing wrong with the data, and no reason divfix should have to remove it to repair the file. but as phainein mentioned earlier, if you only use divfix and don't delete that section, the rest of the file gets screwed up. anyway it should be noted that the torrent has been removed and the comment changed to say the Suck guys are working on v2. and if i might indulge in some gentle ribbing, maybe they'll take a few moments to insert some of the words that seem to be missing throughout sentences in this episode ;)

Anonymous said...

Thanks for triyng to release episode 5. Despite the fact the file doesn't work I would please ask the fansubbers re-release this episode? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Exactly, the second version is made so that all the people that dont have time to download more programs can now wait for it to be fixed properly. Hooray for the guys at We Suck for sticking to this series I love it soooo much!

Anonymous said...

Thanks a lot for the release, even with this error. We are looking forward for the fixed version to be shared ! Keep up the good work, nobody will blame you for the little mistake !

Anonymous said...

when I try to download I get page cannot be displayed. did they take the torrent down to fix it?

his method works..

and AVI Fixed DOES NOT WORK(heck i dont know if he's too lazy or what, but AVIFixed to the file directly wont work unless he means after the VirtualDub process)

Anonymous said...

Thanks so much mlander! Extremely clear instructions!

Now the fixed video plays perfectly, even at 10:57 which is the part DivFix cuts off if you were to use DivFix alone.

angels ya'll are.

I love this series.

Yes indeed, in some moments I can reveal that I acquiesce in with you, but you may be in the light of other options.
to the article there is still a suspect as you did in the downgrade delivery of this request www.google.com/ie?as_q=flexpde professional 3d 5.0.19 ?
I noticed the phrase you suffer with not used. Or you use the dark methods of development of the resource. I suffer with a week and do necheg
